1) A brief history and overview of the moral issue you have selected (Gun control).I am against people having easy access to guns
2) A formal argument (as described in Anatomy of an Argument) asserting your position on the issue
3) A formal argument refuting the counter-argument made by someone else. This must be an actual argument made by someone, and not a hypothetical counter-argument, or ‘straw dog’.
The essay must be between 1200-1700 words (excluding quotes), and make use of at least 4 scholarly sources not already used in this course. The essay must be fully referenced using MLA format, and must be entirely original, obviously.
